Our focus on Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging (IDB) is an integral part of who we are as a firm and why our culture is unique. By valuing differences and creating a safe space for colleagues to be themselves and thrive in their careers, we ensure our people experience a sense of belonging.
We recognise there are many spectrums of diversity at Ashurst, so we established an Action Plan to outline our focus, commitment and specific IDB objectives, identifying six key diversity strands:
- Caring Responsibilities
- Disability & Wellbeing
- Gender Equality
- LGBTI+ Inclusion
- Multiculturalism
- Social Inclusion & Mobility.
Within these strands we provide action committees, support, recognition and allyship to ensure we foster a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone feels a sense of belonging.

Testimonials
"Since joining the firm in 2021 I have been lucky enough to be presented with amazing opportunities to not only develop my technical skills within the Financial Crime and Risk team but also to develop meaningful relationships across the firm, which now includes taking a 2 year secondment to the London team. The role itself really does encompass what technical excellence means and you are given the opportunities to develop skills, problem solve and challenge your usual way of thinking. I have been supported immensely along the way from my managers and colleagues where I do feel like I have an opportunity to deliver a positive impact for the business."
