Bronwyn Kirkwood is a counsel in our tax practice
Bronwyn's practice is in direct tax, with an emphasis on financial services and general corporate tax issues. She also advises on employment and not-for-profit tax issues.
Bronwyn's experience covers a broad range of matters including providing income tax advice for structured financing arrangements, PPPs, corporate and fund reorganisations and mergers and acquisitions. Bronwyn has particular expertise in income tax issues relating to cross-border financing, debt capital market issues and securitisations.
Bronwyn also advises corporates on a range of tax related issues such as dealing with the Australian Taxation Office, tax sharing agreements and the payment of dividends/capital returns.
Bronwyn enjoys assisting with Ashurst's pro bono program and has been involved with the establishment of a number of charitable or philanthropic entities for corporate and not-for-profit clients, including obtaining the relevant ATO endorsements.
