Dion is a renowned corporate transactions lawyer with 15 years of experience in the Indonesian and South East Asian legal markets. Dion specialises in M&As, joint ventures, fundraisings, strategic collaborations, investments as well as private equity and venture capital style transactions in telecommunication, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, fintech (encompassing among other things payments, equity crowdfunding, e-money, e-wallet, peer-to-peer lending and digital banking), digital/technology start-ups in various sectors (including ride-hailing, e-commerce marketplace and e-retail), data centres, logistics, real estate and downstream oil and gas sectors.
Dion is based in Jakarta at Ashurst's associated firm, Oentoeng Suria & Partners (OSP). Prior to joining OSP, he spent more than 6 years at a prominent international law firm.
Dion was called to the bar in 2010 and is admitted to practice law in all levels of court in Indonesia.
Dion speaks fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia.
