Emilia Etz is an associate in our antitrust, regulation and foreign investment team, specialised in international and EU trade
Emilia is Associate in the Brussels office of Ashurst and specialises in international and EU trade, public international law and EU regulatory law.
She particularly focuses on advising and assisting clients in matters related to sanctions and export controls, customs and market access, trade defence, free trade agreements and investment controls. She has also built up rich experience representing clients in complex administrative and litigation proceedings before national and EU authorities and courts.
Prior to joining Ashurst, Emilia worked in the trade team of another international law firm in Brussels. She completed her trilingual legal studies in London, Berlin and Paris as part of the European Law School before going on to do placements at the Federal Ministry for the Environment in Berlin and the European Commission within the framework of her legal training (Referendariat).
Emilia is a fully qualified German lawyer, and is registered in the E-List of the Brussels Bar.
