Greg is a senior associate in our financial regulatory practice. Greg advises financial institutions across the financial sector including banks, CFD issuers, asset managers and investment firms in Australia and the UK.
Greg has a wide range of experience in respect to the establishment of new funds, obtaining authorisations for financial services business and ongoing compliance with a range of regulatory obligations including the Australian DDO, the ASIC product intervention powers and various UK and EU legislation including FSMA, MiFID II and AIFMD. Greg has worked on a number of complex multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions and regulatory investigations.
Prior to Ashurst, Greg worked at the Australian financial services regulator and worked with IOSCO. He is able to draw on that experience advising clients on best way of communicating effectively with regulators.
