John has 25 years' experience in the IT industry, holding senior leadership positions (CIO/CTO, Global Head of Cyber). He advises boards, executives, and audit and risk management committees on cyber risk and compliance matters and has provided his trusted advice during major breaches and cyber incidents.
John has experience across the financial services, legal, audit, professional services, energy, and state government sectors and in his most recent role prior to Ashurst, he was CIO for one of the Queensland government’s oldest integrity agencies.
