Karen Mitra is a counsel in our employment practice
She has experience working with clients across the Asia Pacific region and is the day to day contact for clients in Asia.
Karen brings a truly pan-Asian experience to her role advising clients on a broad range of employment law and workplace relations issues including international employee mobility, restructurings and redundancies, employment aspects of M&A transactions, leave entitlements and benefits and disciplinary issues and dismissals. Karen also has experience advising on the employment aspects of anti-bribery and corruption matters.
Karen has advised a broad range of clients regarding litigious and non-litigious Asia employment matters, including multi-national corporations and Governments.
Karen is recognised by Chambers 2020 as an "Associate to watch". She is described by clients as being "very well versed in employment law matters in a number of jurisdictions".
She is admitted in Australia (Australian Capital Territory).
