Mark Barges is a partner in our projects practice
Mark has extensive experience in advising on conventional and renewable energy and infrastructure projects in France, Europe, Africa and Latin America. He has worked on a number of transactions in this sector including the financing of wind farms, solar and biomass portfolios.
Mark has also advised on the financing and development of coal, oil and gas-fired IPP projects, including offtake and grid arrangements, as well as various airports, ports, rail and road projects.
He advises lenders, commercial banks, multilateral financial institutions and export credit agencies, as well as developers and sponsors at all stages of the structuring, development and financing of major projects.
Mark is qualified in Paris and England & Wales and is a recognised practitioner in the current Europe and Global editions of Chambers & Partners.
