Piers has extensive experience advising on all aspects of investment funds, including the formation of large international private equity funds and debt funds.
He has built strong and long-lasting relationships with leading fund managers and investors, and has led major fund-raising projects for clients such as Altor Equity Partners and ICG plc. These have included funds with innovative structures and market-leading terms, and have often involved careful project management to achieve single closing fund-raisings on short timetables.
