Pilar Lluesma is a counsel and head of the regulatory finance practice at Ashurst Spain
Pilar is counsel and heads the regulatory finance law practice of Ashurst Spain. Prior to joining Ashurst she worked at Uría Menéndez and previously worked at Linklaters.
Pilar has more than 20 years of experience in her field. Her professional practice focuses on financial and securities market law, with a strong focus on financial regulatory matters - credit institutions, insurance companies and investment services companies and management companies - as well as advising on matters related to collective investment schemes. In addition, she has experience in the management of the secretariats of regulated financial institutions, and in all matters related to MiFID II, PRIIPS, EMIR, and CSDs.
Pilar holds a degree in Law from the University of Valencia (where she was awarded an extraordinary prize) and a diploma in Advanced European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
