Stevie Gough is a senior associate in our intellectual property practice
Stevie is based in Sydney and specialises in intellectual property advice and litigation. She has particular experience and expertise in patent litigation and life sciences.
Stevie's litigation experience focuses on pharmaceutical and biotechnology patents. She has acted in complex proceedings before the Federal Court of Australia, the High Court of Australia and the Australian Patent Office.
Stevie frequently advises a variety of local and international clients in relation to patent enforcement and validity, and freedom to operate, across a diverse range of industries, including the electronic gaming and oil & gas industries.
On the transactional side, Stevie provides strategic advice in relation to the sale, acquisition, commercialisation and licensing of intellectual property.
Stevie also provides advice on Australia's regulatory frameworks for therapeutic goods, including medicines, biologicals and medical devices.
In addition to her qualifications in law, Stevie has a science degree in molecular biology.
Stevie is recognised as a 'Rising Star' by Doyle's Guide and Managing IP.
