Tim's practice focuses on two main areas: mixed use residential development for leading listed developers and acting for funds in relation to all aspects of their portfolios (including set up), particularly in relation to logistics. He has acted on a number of high profile real estate joint ventures for both investment and regeneration projects. Tim leads our logistics sector and data centre sectors.
Recent transaction highlights include acting for Tritax on the UK's first ever 'gigafactory' a £3.8 billion battery factory development in Northumberland, for Berkeley Group on a 20 year scheme for a new 5000 home community near Milton Keynes, and the formation and real estate work for the set up of numerous joint ventures. Among these include: Tritax and Delancey focusing on last mile logistics; Areli and GIC on the acquisition and conversion of retail parks into mixed use residential schemes; and Barings and Henry Boot on acquisition development letting and sale of logistics sites. Tim's key clients include The Berkeley Group, Lendlease, Arax Properties, Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, Eco World, Grainger, Norges Bank Real Estate Management, Ballymore, Tritax and Delancey, Barings, Areli Real Estate and GIC.
Tim is ranked by Chambers for his skills in real Estate and is listed as a 'Next Generation Partner' by The Legal 500 UK. Tim is the joint Multiculturalism champion for Ashurst globally and is a lead partner in the firm's BAME working group in London.
