London-based competition partner Anna Morfey has been recognised as one of The Lawyer's Hot 100 lawyers for 2025, a list which comprises the "UK’s most adventurous, most innovative and most dynamic lawyers, shaping the legal profession for many years to come."
Anna has been recognised for her work on two defence-side class action mandates for the firm in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, as well as Ashurst's first claimant-side class action in 2025 against Motorola.
The Lawyer described Anna as "a star disputes hire" for Ashurst and pointed to her "booming competition litigation practice".
Euan Burrows, global head of Ashurst's antitrust, regulatory and trade practice, said: "Anna has had yet another outstanding year, marked by some fantastic mandates and an unwavering commitment to her clients and colleagues. It is brilliant to see this recognised by The Lawyer and it is a thoroughly well-deserved recognition for Anna."
Anna added: "It is a privilege to be recognised in The Lawyer's Hot 100 for 2025 and to share this space with such a talented group. I would like to thank our clients and my colleagues for their recognition and continued support."
