Ashurst has advised Aviva Investors, the global asset manager of Aviva plc., on acquiring a 51% majority shareholding in Hamburg-based Connected Infrastructure Capital GmbH (CIC), a dynamic renewable energy developer focused on wind energy projects in Central and Northern Europe.
Aviva Investors' investment will provide the necessary funding to accelerate CIC's growth trajectory, expand its project pipeline, and support ongoing development activities.

Connected Infrastructure Capital GmbH is a Hamburg-based renewable energy company specializing in the origination, acquisition, development, and operation of wind energy projects. With a focus on Poland and Sweden, CIC has built a substantial portfolio and pipeline of projects while operating a portfolio of 100 MW of wind parks in Central and Northern Europe.
