Ashurst advises HIH Invest on the launch of a new residential property fund with 14 residential properties

    Ashurst advised HIH Invest Real Estate (HIH Invest) on the launch of a new fund for institutional investors with the residential real estate company Vonovia and its acquisition of 14 development projects and new buildings with an investment volume of over €630 million. The properties were acquired by Vonovia and Quarterback Immobilien AG and comprise a total rental area of over 127,000 square meters (of which 113,500 square meters are residential and 13,500 square meters commercial space) and 1,161 parking spaces.

    The portfolio includes a variety of different residential units, including two- to three-room apartments, student apartments and apartments for senior citizens. The properties are located in strategically favorable locations in the important metropolitan areas of Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Halle/Saale, Dresden, Königs Wusterhausen, Böblingen and Offenbach.
