Ashurst advises HIH Invest Real Estate on purchase of new logistics building from Panattoni

Ashurst advised HIH Invest Real Estate (HIH Invest) on the purchase of a new logistics building in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from Panattoni. The logistics property is located on Hagenower Chaussee in Wittenburg between Schwerin and Hamburg. The parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction.

The two hall sections offer a total rental area of 26,428 m² and were completed at the end of 2023. There is an expansion option for 11,800 m² of hall, office and mezzanine space. The sole tenant is Kühne + Nagel. The lease runs for seven years and includes extension options.

HIH Invest is one of the leading property investment managers in Germany and Europe. It currently manages assets with a volume of 22.3 billion euros. Ashurst regularly acts for the HIH Group.
