Ashurst advises Norddeutsche Landesbank on financing two acquisitions by Loewenstark

Ashurst advised Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale as lender on the financing of two acquisitions by online marketing service provider Löwenstark Digital Group (Löwenstark). The parties agreed not to disclose the terms and conditions of the financing.

Löwenstark, a portfolio company of HANNOVER Finanz, with headquarters in Braunschweig / Germany takes over the Hamburg-based agencies KDM Kontor Digital Media GmbH & Co  KG and Lucky Shareman GmbH, thus expanding its range of services with an additional offering in the areas of media planning and influencer marketing. Founded in 2006, Löwenstark is one of the most experienced and successful digital service providers for online marketing in the German-speaking countries with over 5,000 customer projects.

The Ashurst team was led by partner Dr Matthias Weissinger. He was assisted by senior associate Franziska Sauer, associate Sascha Lotholz and senior transaction lawyer Ena Selimbegovic (all Global Loans). Dr Matthias Weissinger and his team have already advised Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale on the financing of the acquisition of Löwenstark by funds advised by HANNOVER Finanz GmbH and ARCUS Capital AG last year.
