Ashurst advises Octopus Energy Generation on the acquisition of OX2 France

    Ashurst has advised Octopus Energy Generation, one of Europe's largest renewable energy investors, on its acquisition of renewables developer OX2 France (now 'Veles Energies') via its 'Sky' fund.

    This is one of Octopus Energy Generation's largest deals in the country to date, resulting in the takeover of 21 photovoltaic projects (with a total capacity of 450MW) under development and a 15 person management team.
