Ashurst bolsters digital offering with partner relocation

Global law firm Ashurst is strengthening its tech, telecoms and data offering with the relocation of global co-head of Digital Economy Amanda Ludlow, who moves to London from the firm's Brisbane office. This follows the appointment of three new Digital Economy Transactions partners in the firm's Australian practice in 2023.

Amanda has been at Ashurst for over 25 years, and has been global co-practice head for Digital Economy since 2018.

Her practice spans all aspects of the digital economy, from digital transformation projects to digital infrastructure projects and data regulation. Amanda has worked on some of the world's largest digital infrastructure deals in recent years, including advising on the creation of NBN, Australia's national broadband provider and Meta (Facebook) on 2Africa, the world's largest sub-sea cable project. Amanda is also currently advising on a range of high profile cyber security breaches.

Amanda's move is the latest example of Ashurst's commitment to its strategic growth in Digital Economy. Recent hires across Europe include Nicolas Quoy and Antoine Boullet in Paris, Alexander Duisberg in Munich as well as Chris Grey, Sunny Kumar and Aaron Cole in London.

Amanda has relocated to London alongside associate Sabrene Ben Dekhil.
