Ashurst grows real estate team with partner hire in Sydney

Global law firm Ashurst announces the appointment of Kate Barker as partner in its Sydney office to further strengthen its real estate practice. Kate specialises in complex and structured investment real estate deals and has extensive experience in real estate-focused joint ventures, investment funds and development projects. 

Kate joins Ashurst from King & Wood Mallesons, where she has acted for major international investors and developers, including Lendlease, Mirvac and Frasers Property. She sat on the real estate sector committee and established and co-ran a successful seminar series for in-house lawyers.
