Global law firm Ashurst announces the appointment of Teruma Naito as a partner in the Projects & Energy Transition (PET) practice, based in Tokyo, bringing extensive experience and expertise in energy transition and infrastructure projects.
Teruma specialises in international project finance, cross-border finance, and equity investment transactions, particularly within the energy, infrastructure, shipping, and export credit financing sectors globally. Over the past two decades, he has advised on a wide range of cross-border financings and equity investment matters across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. His clients include sponsors, lenders, and equity investors, and he has extensive experience dealing with financial institutions, multinational corporations and government entities, with a deep understanding of the legal frameworks and regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions.
