Double success for Ashurst at the Partnerships Awards

Celebrating excellence, achievement and innovation in PPP, the Partnerships Awards recognise the best projects and teams working in the sector across the EMEA and APAC regions.
Ashurst was recognised for its role advising the Saudi Schools Tatweer Building Company Schools Infrastructure Programme in Saudi Arabia, which was named Judges' Choice for Transport Project of the Year. A team led by David Charlier advised on the landmark deal which saw a consortium design, build, finance, maintain and transfer 60 schools located in Jeddah and Mecca.
The firm was also recognised for advising Dhaka Bypass PPP Road Project in Bangladesh, named Judges' Choice Award for Social Infrastructure Project of the Year. The Ashurst team led by partner Anna Hermelin and senior associate Alexis Rosenberg advised on the implementation and procurement of the toll road project.

The Ashurst team was also highly commended for advising Future Valleys Consortium on all aspects of the £592m A465 Heads of the Valleys Dualling Project in 2021 and the Sizewell C Project, a nuclear power plant constructed at a greenfield site in Suffolk in 2022.
